A S low Return

It's been years since my last post due to health issues but I'm gradually getting back into it. No, longer able to touch-type,I  still intend to hunt and peck.

So much has happened in these last several years that it's going to take me a while to get caught up. I am currently able to record and upload videos to my youtube channel called Otto Vids.https://www.youtube.com/user/OttoVids . There are a couple of old videos on there with no sound, but the new ones are high-def with sound. They also link to my Power Exchange society sim; Secret Garden Isle which I share with my friend Alobar who owns House Of The Rising Sun, a blues club.

I am currently Djing again but this time at Club PES and Trapeze Swinger's club. Club PES is on Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm SLT to 8pm SLT and Tuesday and Thursday nights at Trapeze, 6pm to 8pm SLT.
You can either attend the parties in SL or listen in live at http://otto-turbo.ds.sparrowindustries.net:19212

It's great to be back. Hope to hear from you soon!

Is The Honeymoon Over?

Apparently, the new couple in my previous post have already split up. Such is the nature of most SL relationships. I wish them both the happiness they deserve, but I also hope they will find it in their hearts to leave me out of their conflicts. I am not Ari's keeper nor am I Bannock's adviser. Straightforward and blunt as this may sound, I should not be a go-between for the former couple. They are both adults and should be able to handle their differences as such.

On a lighter note, my new friends Sage and jewel are getting along much better after a lengthy and in-depth communication session. I was hoping a good discussion would straighten things out for them. Sage is a very talented and creative fashion designer. She is currently hosting a large event where other clothing creators hold a fair. This keeps her super busy and her submissive jewel was feeling left out. Jewel is one of the happiest and fun loving people I have ever met in SL, so when she was feeling left out of Sage's life, I felt bad. But it's simply the busy fair that is keeping Sage preoccupied. Perfectly understandable.

It was sami's birthday/rezz day last month. What a great time that was! I was not there for them but I did show up later and I'm sure Alobar gave her the appropriate number of spankings. I have known sami for many years and Alo for even longer. They have together created and maintained one of the finest blues music celebration places in all of SL. While I too have been hosting music venues off and on throughout the years, they have never wavered and have enjoyed mostly success in this up and down business and entertainment environment. Even though times have changed, Alo and sami have been able to change with them and still provide top-notch blues entertainment.
"I like big butts and I cannot lie"

Attending an event at Crimson Moon is like walking into a family reunion. You may not know everyone or anyone at first, but you will feel welcome and respected by the time you leave. It will likely lure you back again. The dance hall itself is a rich blend of old and eastern textures. There is an adjoining castle, game room and chat room. We have group discussions there in voice and in text chat. It's a recent event. Only 3 weeks so far on every Tuesday night at 7pm SLT, but it's becoming more and more popular.

You owe it to yourself to check out the fine events they have there. The dances, chats, games and just hanging out. Be sure to check out: Crimson Sun on Rockford: secondlife://CRIMSON%20SUN/128/128/0

Weddings, Demonstrations and More

So many great things going on lately, I have not had much time to post so I'm going to take at least 3 posts and try to pack them all into one. Well, maybe 4?

I gave daughter Ari away to Bennock last week. It was a wonderful wedding. Very nicely planned and executed. My catness was unable to be there due to RL, but I was in contact with her as it was happening. I also ran into an old friend there and we reminisced. It's a small world! There was a reception afterwards but unfortunately, I was unable to attend. My RL was in the way too. But the ceremony went off without a hitch. I even gave Bannock Ari's dowry; a sheep and a goat.

There was a rope suspension demonstration at P3 a few weeks ago by Franco. Very interesting lessons. Various rope textures were discussed along with knotting techniques. Three submissive volunteers were displayed. One hanging horizontal, another upright and a third standing, making for some very fine eye-candy.

Franco has years of experience with ropes in both SL and RL. He refers to himself as a "knotter", which makes sense. There were 36 avatars present. Franco instructed using voice chat. Very informative so I decided to try out what I had learned on catness.

Speaking of P3. I have been moderating and number of  discussions at P3 including subjects such as breast bondage, the meaning(s) of the collar, etiquette and bondage techniques to name a few. I hold these discussions every Monday evening at 7pm SLT at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Vesta%20Amor/26/213/22 .

I have also been promoted to a council member at The Headquarters on Templehof. HQ is a male-dom themed sim circa 1945, post war Germany in the North Sea on a former resort island. It is a secret U-boat base where the men forage for food and supplies by raiding sea-faring vessels and returning to the island to provide for the highly grateful women. The role-play is very rich and immersive. Be sure and check it out: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ceiram/69/61/33 .

My friend North Habsburg has created another male-dom environment and group with the help of his submissive, Sage. It is not only an academy where women are tasked to become better submissives, but also a hangout place for like-minded people. I have begun presenting lessons there beginning tonight, so be sure and check that out at: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sage%20Isle/190/90/30

So the next time someone in SL complains to you that they are bored, just point them to this post. There is fun for all adults at these places.

Adult Content

It has been several weeks since my last post. The main reason being that Google, the corporation that I post this blog on, had changed their adult content policy. They switched from an "Adult Content Warning" upon arriving at the blog's URL to prohibiting posting of adult content altogether.

Because much of the content of this blog is adult oriented and often times features pictures of avatars in various adult, sexual and fetish poses, I was actively seeking another server/corporation to move the blog to. But fortunately, Google came to their senses and is back to allowing the posting of adult and sexual content.

Some of the pictures I have taken in Second Life involved avatars in adult approved virtual locations. So while the content of the photo may only be a scene from a group discussion gathering, some of the avatars had very little, if any, clothes on. And that is exactly why I was hesitant to post. Would images such as those be considered sexual? Would Google ban my blog? So I went in search of another blog server who's URL I could post here. As it turns out, Google had a change of "corporate heart". I would assume too many users threatened to leave and post their blogs elsewhere.

Unique "Talk Show" Event at P3

It is my intent to educate and entertain. It is not my intent to publish porn for personal gain. The adult situations that happen to myself and my friends in SL are due to socializing on a level that is not readily available to most people. In other words, we try things in SL that would not normally be done in real life. Things that might even be illegal in our geographical locations. For example, last weekend I was visiting an area where I was "killed" and basically sent to my home location to re-spawn. If someone had killed me in real life, they would be arrested and tried for murder.

The events that occur in SL and are published here in this blog are for informative reasons. It is designed to educate someone curious about Second Life and to also give current SL users ideas on how to make best use of their SL online time.

Above you will see a picture from a sort of talk show interview that the good people at P3 (Pleasure, Power, Passion) are experimenting with. They find interesting people to interview and also invite questions from the audience. In this picture, because the ladies are all showing a great deal of their assets, Google probably would not have allowed this picture based on their previously posted blogging rules. Fortunately now I can share these bits of information with you.
Panel of BDSM Experts
The Panel's Audience

Because of the BDSM lifestyle that is predominant in the circles of friends I have in SL, photos depicting bondage and domination, submission, masochism, will be a part of this blog. Many of these photos will show avatars in various states of undress. Displaying these pictures could be taken as entertaining, and I'm not opposed to that. But they are primarily for education and examples. I also show the basics of creating virtual objects in SL and that does not involve any adult sexual or fetish content. The freedom to post about most any subject that comes up in Second Life, without the need to worry about repercussions is vital to the purpose of this blog. If it becomes necessary to find another blog server, I will. I am also capable of putting up my own blog server if it comes to that. But I hope to be able to keep this blog free of cost to the blogger.

Above you will see a gathering of people curious about the BDSM lifestyle. The event was held by P3 as stated above and was quite successful, not to mention educational. That's just a couple of aspects of this blog; to inform and educate. But hopefully entertainment finds its way into your reading as well.

It's Not Supposed To Be Un-Fun

Okay, three months since my last post here? Unacceptable. But I have been so crazy busy with work (1st Life), moving in SL and changing buildings and layouts and stuff three times already! I am done. The Power Exchange Society stays just the way it is now. No more changes. You know who you are. Constantly changing things, such as meeting halls, game rooms, libraries, etc., kills too much time and it's not important at this point. At this point, we need to be providing a fun place for our group members to hang out.

To that end, I have been paying for advertising to get more people to join our group. I have also been recruiting sluts and escorts to hang out at the place. Escorts normally have to give a portion of their fees to the club/group/land owner. The only thing I ask in return is to keep our guests happy. That policy, among some other attractions, should keep a steady flow of new members coming in. So why do I want new members?

Because the larger a group of like-minded people there are, the better chance of making more friends and having more interesting things to do. There's not much worse than hanging out in SL all by yourself. It's a social environment after all. So more members means larger events.

To that end, we have decided to hold less frequent events but with more attraction. In other words, higher payouts for contests. More unique events such as orgies and dungeon scenes for everyone to watch and enjoy. More quality and relevant group discussions. More diverse speakers for those events. A nude beach with eye candy. A shopping section with Open Collar items and fetish clothing. A dungeon and well stocked orgy room. And that's only the beginning. Now is the time to come to Power Exchange Society and check out all the interesting stuff we have to offer. Just click the link. See you there! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Maverick%20dAlliez/199/171/22

PES Has Moved

PES Outdoor Party Pavilion
It has been about a month since my last entry and that's because we have been busy moving.  And moving is not easy in a virtual world. But we had to move. I was able to check online at http://gridsurvey.com/ and find that the sim we were living, working and playing on was sharing a single server with 31 other sims. The lag was often times unbearable. So I used that same web site and some "for sale" listings and found a sim that was sharing the same server with only 14 other sims. A quick word about sims.
Entry To Pavilion

Sim, or simulator, is a virtual chunk of land that measures 256 x 256 meters square. There are different types of sims but the type I'm referring to is capable of processing 15,000 primatives or "prims". Each of these sims exists on a server and processes not only the objects there, but also the avatars. The server processes the avatar's movements and looks and broadcasts it to the other avatars so that we can all interact. Each server is capable of multiple sims. In the beginning of SL, only one sim could exist on a server. Each server could only process 15,000 prims. But with advances in hardware and software, it is now possible to allow multiple sims to exist on one server. But how many? Well, the Cabria we were on was up to 31 other sims sharing the same server. We found out the hard way that it's too much. So we moved. So be wary when you purchase land. It might be too far stretched. Be sure to use that link I provide for you before you lay your money down.
Facing The Manor From The Pavilion

The Cabria sim was unfortunately experiencing lag. Lag is where your virtual world experience is greatly slowed down. You can try to move about only to find that your avatar is stuck in position. Or you do manage to start walking but your avatar will not stop. You can type a message in your chat window and it is greatly delayed ( sometimes a full minute ) or it never shows up in local chat at all. Many undesirable and unexpected events occur. And while lag is a common thing in SL, there is usually a temporary cause behind it. Too many scripts running. Avatars with too many scripted items running. An excess of avatars on one sim (30+) could be the problem. But in our case, it was the land owner company. They became greedy and tried to run too many sims on one server. The results were annoying and we, as a group of investors, had had enough. So we moved.
PES Manor and Sex/Orgy/Dungeon House

We are now at Maverick d'Alliez and quite content. I checked and there are only half the number of sims on this one server. There literally is almost no lag here. So when you get a chance, be sure to come on down and visit. The place is open to the public and you will be given an automatic group invite. If you do join, you will be informed of upcoming events and such, without being spammed.
Nude Beach

We have dragons, and at this time some Halloween decorations, a sex/orgy/dungeon house for playing in, a dance pavilion where we hold our musical and trivia events, a manor which Sir Wade, who had to leave us, owns. But he has generously left the manor in place for our use. And a nude beach. Yes, it doesn't matter what time of year it is in 1st life, Power Exchange Society will always have a nude beach. After all, if it's winter time here in the US, it's summer in Australia, right?

Group Discussions Are Now In Text Chat And Voice Chat

Power Exchange Society has been holding group discussions headed by Sir Wade for a few weeks now. These informative meetings are designed to not only entertain, but to educate as well. And a really nice feature is the fact that anyone can join in and add to the discussion.

Many other BDSM discussion groups provide pretty much the same events, but PES is setting out into some uncharted territory. While text chat transcripts of these group discussions are made available by other groups, ours will also include the option of requesting the sound file transcript of the discussion. In this way, a group member who misses a meeting and wants to share in the knowledge gained, can request the sound file and read along as they listen.

Due to the sound file size restrictions in SL, the sound file will need to be sent via email. If you would like the latest copy of our Sunday night discussions in either notecard form, sound chat or both, join our group by visiting Power Exchange Society on Cabria. You will be given a group invitation. Every week we will be offering our chats in text and voice and simple instructions on how to get them.
