Life In The Slow Lane

It's been several days since I've posted anything here. The main reason is my computer has fried. I have it into a local shop now to see if they can salvage the data from the hard drive but they've had it for 4 days now with no luck, so it doesn't look too promising. I'm on a borrowed computer now which is working out okay, but it's a fair bit slower than mine and it does not have my music streaming software on it so I have been unable to DJ events. But SL goes on so here are a few things that took place over the last few nights.

Clancy DJ'd an event last night that Emi setup. It was "Dress Up" night. Most took that to mean formal wear but I figured it meant to wear something that I don't normally wear and Zuri took it that way too. So Zuri and I danced to the country music Clancy was playing for the entire event. Suni ended up winning the contest with the most votes. Congrats Suni! Darren showed up just after the event ended and I really wanted to visit with him but it was late for me so I said my good nights to everyone and logged off.

The night before was supposed to be my event but I was unable to stream the music. So I found a nice classic rock music stream and Emi came up with a "Wing It" night. We all wore wings and had a great time. It was kind of nice not having to be distracted by DJing, so I was able to enjoy the party more. Nezzy showed up and ended up winning the event with the most votes. Cat made it there too. It was wonderful dancing with her and her soft white wings. I had on some metal wings, so that made for quite the contrast with cat. Trivia was great! But Darren won most of the questions because that trivia ball is repeating itself quite a bit and Darren has an excellent memory. I really need to take the time to get some more trivia categories for that thing.

Speaking of projects, I'm working on an underwater ballroom right now and it's coming along well. I'll need to plan an event for its grand opening here soon.
